Re: harness update
As I recall, RCIs are only SFI-rated? Which would mean they expire a lot sooner than the FIA belts...
We switched over to Schroth FIA belts (6-point) in the 924 - very high quality, and good for 5 years (vs. 3 for SFI)... around $360/set...

Re: harness update
Did you buy your harness? We bought these https://www.summitracing.com/parts/RCI-9210C and look really good. Our car is not that fast so we think those would be fine. Have not installed them yet but have a harness bar and supports. Most critical aspect of 5 point belts is the angle of the shoulder straps to the cage/bar. Lots of info online.
I signed up for a PCA HPDE but they require a HANS device if you have 5 or 6 point belts and belts have to be the same on driver/pass sides. Had to cancel but not because of that.
At the April 18th OTD, I'm going to see how other cars are set up and see what the driver's say about the belts. Then might install the 5 point belts after that.

Re: harness update
I bought the ones in my post. Nice belts and I wanted 6 point. of course if PCA has a restriction for over 4 points then hooking in the crotch belt is not done. very cost effective IMO @ $72 for 3 years.
