Costs involved

Hi Guys/Gals,

Looking to actually get onto the track this year in something other than my shoes. Finances have improved so I'm currently car/gear shopping and it look like racing at Waterford could finally become a reality for me. Trying to nail down costs and I've got all my questions answered about OCSC and SCCA membership costs, as well as the cost for driver's school, the one I can't find is..."Do you pay to enter every race?" I suppose that's a given for most but I can't find that one anywhere. Also, are the entry fees different for each class? Or standard across the board?

Oh and do you win money or do the race entry fees all go toward the club?

Looking forward to rubbing fenders with you all!

-Rob

You pay a weekend entry fee to race one class. If you run a second class you pay another entry fee that is discounted. You could also sign up for the season at a one race weekend discount for the package. Look for the registration in the forms area. ( not yet posted)
You are racing for fun and trophies, no $$$

Don't let Jerry see that you are talking about rubbing fenders :-)

What? What happen to $180. Must have missed the memo?

Ok, I see it. It was in the registration thread.
Does anyone know if the cost of race fuel has gone down? Maybe more of a wish that a question?
