iRacing DRSCCA Winter Series

Post by Alejandro DellaTorre »

In case you haven't heard our partners in racing at the Detroit Region SCCA are hosting a SIM/iRacing Winter series.
Not only is it open to anyone with iRacing to participate, but it is being broadcast via YouTube for ANYONE to spectate.

If you still think that a Simulator (SIM) is just a video game, this is your opportunity to get a peek behind the scenes to see how with todays technology the lines begin to blur. Sure it may not be for everyone, but it is a tool that CAN train, hone skills and teach track/racing etiquette. Along the same vein, accidents do happen just like on the physical track...and the red mist is also very real.

All that being said you be the judge. Here is the link to spectate the race:

Broadcast begins at 8PM EST.

The tracks and schedule are as follows:
February 6th – Sebring
February 13th – Road Atlanta
February 20th – VIR
February 27th – Mid-Ohio
March 5th – Watkins Glen
March 12th – Road America

If you want to race or find out how, check out the DRSCCA Series info page:

Looking forward to seeing everyone in the spring or sooner!
