Re: awning question

I actually like that idea, but my trailer door is nearly flush with the roof, so I need the awning to be higher if it's going to slope down. otherwise the door will dig into it when I swing it open.

Re: Race Weekend #1 OPEN PADDOCK SPOTS (post here)

please keep in mind that some people post open spots in our facebook group too: https://www.facebook.com/groups/10414038009 if they post there as well as here, two different people might be putting a claim on a single open paddock spot. there's no formal rule (that I'm aware of) governing that pract...

awning question

I'm thinking about upgrading my canopy to something like this: https://www.holidaymotorsportsawnings.c ... -above.php

who has good/bad experiences to share about vendors, brands, design considerations, or whatever else I'm not thinking about?

Re: Merry Christmas

yeah, me too, pile on. holidays and stuff. I regret that this place is so quiet now. lots of conversation happens over on the facebook page. well, on and off, anyway. I'm there, but I don't like that the conversation is fragmented this way. I don't want people to have to be on fb just to stay caught...

sharing space when we're jam packed

at the drivers meeting Jerry P. floated the idea of sharing paddock space when we're packed, especially those of us who got two spaces in the upper paddock due to our trailer length (I'm in this category). I'm happy to play along, since really I don't need all of both my spaces. I'm trying to figure...

lower 30s on friday night

the current forecast for friday night has temps at the track in the lower 30s. Water Wetter claims it doesn't do anything to the freezing point of my otherwise H2O coolant. I have two questions, and I don't really trust the anonymous internet to answer them. 1. at what ambient temperature should I g...

Re: Remember these guys and this car at Waterford Hills?

the name Bill Maciolek is vaguely familiar. did the car run EP during that era? I bet Mark Windecker has a pic somewhere. you probably already know, but Wateford Hills will host a vintage event this year again, July 23-25. might be a good time to see if the car still knows its way around the hills...

if not, I think we should do something in his honor. I looked it up: his member number was 264. I don't know for sure, but it seems like he was active in the club that entire time.(?)
