Re: I.T. Invitational at Waterford (Read; I.T.ONLY FEATURE R

Very impressive so far - 9 cars in ITC by this morning!

So, how many do they need to qualify for a split grid? I'm thinking maybe they're already there???

Vintage Friday open practice?

Who knows if my car will be in any shape to do it, but... will access to the Friday practice sessions before Vintage be available for those not running the actual Vintage weekend? Might be nice to have a little extra testing time, try a few different things... this would be for the P2 car...

Re: I.T. Invitational at Waterford (Read; I.T.ONLY FEATURE R

OK, but we also shouldn't need 13/13 Vintage rules to prevent contact. We already have a GCR which covers that; every driver is responsible to avoid contact regardless. Furthermore, every driver should only ever race as close as they're able to ensure no contact. Leave yourself as much room as you n...

Re: Gingerman, Grattan & Mid-ohio

You'll need an SCCA membership to go with your WHRRI full license (so that you're covered for insurance). Assuming you're talking an SCCA weekend, that is. If you're talking NASA, you'll need to not only join NASA but also get a license with them - usually just paperwork/fees.

Re: 2015 schedule

Yay!! Thanks again guys for getting this out nice and early. I too was a little surprised by only 5 races this year. Then I thought about how empty the paddock's been for even our 6 races; yeah, maybe a little less is more. It's certainly worth a try, considering the financial balance vs. OTDs (and ...

Re: putting her to bed

Some additional thoughts, and my take... Orange coolant - there'd better not be any air in my coolant system anyway, bubbles do bad things. Lucky enough not to have real mice problems - must be enough feral or outdoor cats in the neighborhood. Battery: got an Optima. I just pop the kill switch in th...

Re: Support your local regional

+1 to that, Gingerman is an excellent track to be the "first away game" for those who've "grown up" at Waterford, and I always recommend it as such. May not be quite as thrilling as some like Mid-O (although, as I've more recently found out, having wings changes that!), but still fast, and still cha...

Re: Trophy Presentation , 1 hour after racing.

Really like the idea of a "Happy Hour" at the clubhouse; will never make it there any sooner, but I'm sure that'll help promote the atmosphere, great idea! I will throw out there that one thing we've always fought a bit with is the somewhat hit-or-miss nature of food at the 'house; I understand we'r...

Re: Trophy Presentation , 1 hour after racing.

Half an hour can be real tight for us when we're in group 6. BTDT. Though doing the groups in their entirety, as proposed earlier, would help mitigate that. As for those who will only show up when they get trophies... I'd like to take a moment to ask them exactly who they expect to be applauding the...

Re: Race weekend 6 and season afterglow.

Indeed, that reminds me, PUB Racing owes a big thanks to the F500 guys for all their patience this year as we've struggled to get Mo Makki's car functional again and happy - helluva learning curve there, to be sure! Best of all, the effort was successful, and Mo was able to complete all his laps thi...

Re: 2013 Points

One error noted - not sure if it shows up in other classes too, but Kimi Cordier-Murmyluk drove two different ITB cars (not just numbers, but cars, with different transponder #'s, which is probably the source of the error)... so she's got two separate points listings. Add 'em together, that puts her...

Correct - you can pay on-site, including purchasing passes as needed for crew members.
