Check out that familiar, smiling face on page 81 of this months SCCA Sports Car magazine (lower RH corner).

I agree with Bruce, both my friend Mark Harmer and I enjoyed the venue and the event.
"A very Good Job" to all those involved.

Re: RIP A2Z

Mark Harmer in his Surtees TS-5 and Tony driving an Eagle had some great Vintage F-5000 races up to a couple years ago, when his condition was discovered.
He will be missed.

Re: Any news ...

I hate looking at crashed race cars right after something like that happens, so I don't. Looked like it took quite a hit, but the ol' Reynard did it's job. Glad to see you walking by, after medical released you.

Driver's time is the issue. No time, start in the back (if approved by Chief Steward).

Grattan.
And that's why I've always loved Grattan. Enduro Karts, F/Ford, F/Super-vee, had a ball there no mater what I drove.
Did my first SCCA National race there in 1971. Even got a trophy for my effort!

Re: 2015 schedule

When I last drove, I would do most if not all of the Waterford races, which gave me the room in my schedule to add Grattan, Mid-Ohio (Gingerman wasn't around), IRP (not raced now), Nelson Ledges (ugh, what a pit), Elkhart Lake and/or more. If they (WHRRI) had larger fields at all of the 6 weekends, ...

Re: race weekend 3 afterglow.

Chris told me this was his first win. Maybe he saw the F/vee events of last year, when he was the only vee entered as not the same as when there are others in your class to race with ?
