Re: Antifreeze?
SVRA specifically states in its Rules that anti-freeze is NOT ALLOWED. I would have bet that in the early 2000's it was at the very least recommended that anti-freeze NOT be used in our Rules and Regulations. I think I can still find that file folder. And yes, I HATE the inconvenience of running wat...

LATE FEE
Just in case you are a slacker (like ME!) - when you download your 2017 WHRRI Credentials Application you may notice that there is a $100.00 LATE FEE for any License Applications received after May 3. Better get going as that date is approaching quickly. (Especially if you also have an engine to fin...

Re: 2015 Rules
Just an FYI... Another part of the process is that Rules requests are typically required to be made by the end of the year for the following season. That would mean 12/31/2014 for rules requests for the 2015 season. I believe the Rules have to have been finalized for Board approval before now...

Re: SCCA/WHRRI Novice permit questions
BUT... I believe he can race at any SCCA Regional on an SCCA Novice Ticket and ONLY at Waterford on a WHRRI Novice Ticket. A WHRRI Full License is accepted at SCCA Events (WITH an SCCA Membership) but I don't think a WHRRI Novice Ticket will get you in!

Re: Saturday evening festivities?
This does NOT all have to fall to he Club and Officers / the same old volunteers. In fact it can't anymore. In the mid - late 90's when Gari Chaffin and I were having some great races, I spent many Saturday nights crawling over Lola trying to find a half second or so. I remember the Big Bore Racers ...

Re: Scales?
Rest assured that the Scales will not be set-up before Qualifying. The Tech Area will be busy trying to get everyone else's cars teched so they also can get on track. Check with us after lunch... THANK-YOU. steve

Incident Reports
As many of you know - Waterford Hills Rules require any Drivers having Metal-to-Metal contact during a session to report to Tech. and fill out an Incident Report. I have been asked a few times over the winter "What happens to these - I filled one out but nothing happened...". Here's an explanation. ...

COMP. BOARD MEETING
There will be a Comp. Board Meeting Saturday, January 21 at 10:30 a.m. at the OCSC Clubhouse. I expect that we will mostly be handing-out information to get us all on the same page so we can fix everything at the February Meeting! BUT... If we have a Quorum and folks are in the mood - we may fix eve...

Re: 2012 Schedule
We have a tentative schedule that I would guess won't be released to the public until it gets its final approval from the OCSC Board. Our first version has already been altered... Really - we WANT to release it!

TWO WEEKS LEFT. I might add the Rule states "Submitted in writing". I have heard a few rumors but have but one request in writing to date. Thank-you.

I believe that is the #1 ITEM on the Board of Directors Agenda next week. I don't think Joel is going to let us leave until its done.

12/31/2011 Deadline APPROACHING
As per Rule I.4. in the Waterford Hills RULES AND REGULATIONS ; I would like to offer a reminder that ANY individual Technical Exception to the GCR (or change to OUR Technical Specs.) should be forwarded to the Director of Racing (steve steeb) or the Comp. Board Chairman (Kristian Smith) BEFORE 12/...

Re: ITS tires
Bruce and Christian are both on the Comp. Board and I would suspect a few other members have been monitoring this discussion. I think there is enough of a concensus in ITS for the Comp. Board to consider your request - we will make it an Agenda item at our next meeting, Thursday, March 10.

Re: ITS tires
Funny, I was thinking the same thing... I'm not sure we shouldn't give these guys their own race group so I can watch, too! I also wouldn't have to worry about dodging them that way...

Re: ITS tires
Just a quick HEADS-UP! We agreed at last night's Comp. Board Meeting to consider extending the ban on Hoosier A Tires in ITS for another season if one of you will present a proposal and show us a general consensus. Looks like one of those deals where we would gain more drivers with the ban than we w...

Re: STL run group in Group 3?
THANK-YOU for the HEADS-UP. When we were discussing classes and run groups at last month's Comp. Board Meeting I completely forgot STL. Suyrprising, as I think the Arrow can run there. WOO WOO, I can run twice as many races now too!
