Re: Open Track

I'm pretty sure that we only allow 4-wheeled cars to participate, so a 3-wheeled vehicle that's registered as an autocycle doesn't fit the template. I am also interested to know how these type of lightweight (Slingshot is around 1700lbs) vehicles would fare in the case of off track excursions / cras...

Re: 60th Year Anniversary Celebration !

In spite of the colder-than-normal weather, I think we all gave the old track one heck of a sendoff! That final race ("all skate" ;-) was truly a sight to behold, my head was on a swivel trying to take it all in. Among the countless highlights, I really enjoyed Jimmy DeMarco coming in early then run...

Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gear Oil

I have 7 new (unopened) quarts of Redline Lightweight Shockproof Gear Oil available, asking $100 for all. We can bring them to the track this weekend, or meet somewhere not too far away (we're near South Lyon). Brian https://www.autohance.com/media/catalog/product/cache/1/image/800x/9df78eab33525d08...

Re: available paddock spot

There is adequate physical space I'm sure, but whether if it's up for some wild Canadian style par-tay-ing....I guess we'll just have to find out if Vaughan & Merritt have broken it in properly (my hunch is- oh yes, they have ;-)

Re: Enforcement of "new" rules on the hill for spectators

The Spirit of Waterford Hills lives on! I understand that the Parent Club (OCSC) has certain statutory requirements regarding the sale of alcohol, so can see why coolers might be problematic. The whole canopy/sight-line issue in the Turn 3/Hilltop area is new to me....but to be honest we haven't had...

Electric Accusump Valve

Just doing a little garage shelf cleaning, so here is an electric valve and approx 20" of braided hose (AN10 fittings) for an Accusump.

$75 for pickup in rural Northville, or can bring to the track.

Re: Track grindings

I don't have 1st hand knowledge of the specifics of our project, but quite often the old asphalt can be ground up and mixed in with some new material to lay the bottom (course) layer.
You're right, it's too valuable to simply discard!

Re: Magic Bus Concert

We are HOPING to be able to camp in the paddock on Friday night so we can be there bright and early to do Tech for the OTD's, so if that works out we'll be happy to help monitor the goings-on.
